Description

This is a sweet play hole with excellent eddy service. At higher flows this feature can get very rowdy and can dish out a good working but is still fun to surf. There is a huge eddy and a class II rapid below which makes swimming here not a huge problem.

Directions

From Leavenworth, WA drive East on route 2. Take a right on to Stines Hill Rd after passing by Dryden. This road parallels route 2 for a short bit and then drops down by the river. There is a pull out on the left next to the river. Park here for the put in. To get to the take out continue down stream on Stines Hill Rd. until you enter the town of Cashmere. When you come to a stop sign in Cashmere take a left on South Division St. Follow this and then take right on Riverside Dr before crossing over the River. Follow this to the park on the left next to the river. This is the take out.

Camping

There is camping up river of Leavenworth in Tumwater Canyon or up Icicle Creek.
