North Fork of the Blackfoot River
Description
This is a great wilderness run for the advanced intermediate paddler. Starting off with some creeky boulder gardens and ending with some quality play features combined with amazing views make this run a must do.
Directions
Take route 200 east out of Bonner, Mt toward Ovando. Take a left on Kleinshmidt Flat Rd just over 6 miles passed Ovando. Follow this and take a right on Dry Gulch Rd. Next take a left on Cooper Blackfoot Rd. The first bridge over the North Fork of the Blackfoot is the take out. To get to the put in continue up to the trail head and start hiking. Hike until you come to a bridge passing over the river. Continue up another 1/4 mile and put in above a rapid.

Good camping at the trail head.
