Description
At 9,351 Feet St Mary's Peak offers great vies of the Bitterroot valley and Bitterroot Mountain Range. The Hike up to the peak gains 2,500 feet but is worth the effort when you get to the top. Late Spring is a great time to go see a variety of wild flowers.
Directions
Take route 93 south of Missoula past Stevensville. Take a right on St Mary's Road. Follow St Mary's road until you see a right hand turn with a Forrest Service Hiker sign on it and take a right. Follow Forrest Service road 739 to the trail head.
